Bossa Studios, the developers behind I am Bread and Surgeon Simulator 2013, have just revealed brand new footage of Worlds Adrift, a brand new game currently in development. Producer Herb Liu gives us a walkthrough of some of the new, and still very early, footage in their next project.

In today’s video, we get a look at some of the early work on the game’s day and night cycle, which Bossa Studios is designing to accentuate the game’s unique art style. We also get a short look at some of the different gameplay elements such as harvesting and crafting that players will be able to access using a basic multi-tool.

Finally, we get a sneak preview of the multiplayer PVP gameplay, which in the video features a crossbow fight with bolts that act as independent world objects with their own physics.

Daedalic Entertainment’s Blackguards 2 is back with another features video, this time showing off many of the new monsters that players will encounter.

Players familiar with the first Blackguards will remember difficult encounters such as the Louse Queen, a horrible beetle-like enemy summoned my Marwan’s mages. It turns out that this creature, which ends up drastically altering the path of the game, was just the beginning of these mage’s horrible creations.

Each of the mages have summoned their own unique monstrosity, some flying, some brute-like, some ranged tacticians. Interestingly, as these creatures are mindless husks, tactical players can turn the tide of battle on their side by gaining control of a map objective during the encounter, which causes the enemy to switch sides. As the video shows, these new creatures range greatly in form, though it’s likely all will pose new challenges to players returning to the world of Blackguards 2.

Ubisoft has today announced plans to officially release Assassin’s Creed Rogue on PC on March 10th, 2015.

Morheim: City of the Damned has released a brand new content update, now available on Steam Early Access. With this week’s update, Mordheim: City of the Damned now features a fourth playable Warband, the Cult of the Possessed.

With three Warbands previously available to players – the Mercenaries of the Empire, the Skaven of Clan Eshin, and the Sisters of Sigmar – Mordheim: City of the Damned welcomes now the Cult of the Possessed, bringing the total of playable Warbands to four. The Cult of the Possessed: Worshipers of the Dark Gods of Chaos, the Cult of the Possessed is a group of degenerates and mutants gathered together seeking to gain the favour of the Shadowlord by returning the Wyrdstone to the Pit, slaughtering all those they find trespassing on their master’s domain. They of course boast their own skills, such as Terror, a passive skill which has a chance to enforce a leadership test on any unit that passes his threat zone, or Boon of Chaos, which will buff up a squadmate, increasing physical, mental or martial statistics.

Reserves management: Extending the Warcamp, the ‘reserves’ management option allow you to choose which of your units will head in and out of combat, allowing you to strategically place units in the heart of battle depending on the match load out you might need for the fight.

New Skirmish mission objectives: New skirmish objectives are introduced in this new update: Marked for Death have your hunt for a specific enemy unit – Crush their Will is reminiscent of capture the flag, where you have to steal the enemy’s idol while protecting your own, and finally Wyrdstone Rush, where you will have to gather the precious green shards and secure them.
