It’s happening! Diablo 3 closed beta has opened up to some lucky media partners (not us, #sad) and about 3000 of their most active players. Hopefully the changes that Reaper of Souls brings to the game will make it much more enjoyable to play through the campaign again.
For us Diablo 3 quickly turned into a game about saving gold and buying the best items on the auction house instead of trying to find the best items in dungeons. It’s almost sad that the style of auction house based gameplay seemed to be entirely by design and unfortunately for Blizzard that plan backfired big time.
