Wanted to play some battlefield single player? Sorry EA’s entire internet is down!
Reports have began to surface across the globe that all EA games requiring some type of online authentication are completely offline. EA confirmed the news with a brief statement.
“Our systems that handle online gameplay, matchmaking, and login are offline for all of our titles,” EA said. “This means that you may unable to play online or may get dropped from multiplayer matches, and will not be able to login to EA sites.”
Say what you will about DRM anti-piracy measures and their value to the developer, single player games going down because you can’t authenticate over the internet sucks.
