Orlando, Florida based IndieBox has revealed the mystery game set to be featured as part of this month’s upcoming DRM-free Physical Collector’s Edition IndieBox. Brutal Legend Limited Edition will be the next game that will arrive alongside exclusive goodies right to subscribers home, courtesy of the fine folks at the Postal Service. For the first time, fans will know ahead of time exactly what game will be arriving in their mailbox.
IndieBox delivers collector’s edition boxes of independent video games for as low as $14.99 a month (+$3 US S&H). IndieBox, which launched in the beginning of April 2013, is the only monthly subscription box that delivers the joy of the traditional video game box experience.
Double Fine Productions is an award winning, independent game development studio founded in 2000 by games industry veteran Tim Schafer.
IndieBox partners with talented indie developers to create retrostyle game boxes featuring handpainted artwork with DRM-free game copies, full color manuals, CD soundtracks, posters, collectibles, and much more.
This month’s featured game is Brütal Legend, created by Double Fine. The game stars the voices of Jack Black, Ozzy Ozbourne, and other rock legends who are summoned to the world of Heavy Metal to do battle. Swing an axe (and guitar) at demons and monsters as Eddie Riggs, voiced by Jack Black.
If you happened to have missed out on last month’s Luftrausers Collector’s Edition, there’s still time to purchase your own DRM-free physical copy and other goodies at Indiebox.MyShopify.com (while supplies last).
October IndieBox subscriptions signups are open until October 22nd at 11:59 PM. To learn more about IndieBox or subscribe, visit TheIndieBox.com
