Don’t confuse the minimalist nature of rymdkapsel’s visuals with the complexity and fun of the game. Rymdkapsel perfectly mixes a base building strategy game with time based missions, tower defense, and Tetris (believe it or not).
The one man development studio grapefrukt announced that rymdkapsel would be coming in January on Steam for PC , Linux, and Mac. Additional missions, new monoliths, and some type of crazy new black unit are being added to the already great game.
Here in the office rymdkapsel has been quite popular as the time based missions seem easily doable but show themselves to be much more difficult after your first play through. It takes a seasoned strategy player to complete all 3 missions in a single play through and many adjustments to your base building strategy are required to beat the clock for the last time based mission.
