Owners of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition have something to be both happy and sad about. With the closure of Microsoft’s Games for Windows Live service drawing near, many game developers are scrambling to keep their games functional.
In an announcement on the official Street Fighter blog, Capcom announced plans to transition Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition over to Valve’s Steamworks. Unfortunately for owners of the game though, free and paid DLC will not be coming along with the migration. It’s a pretty unfortunate turn of events for people that already own the game and accompanying DLC.
One would assume that Ultra Street Fighter IV will already be running on Steamworks when it debuts on PC this August. You can pre-order a copy of Ultra Street Fighter IV
