Daedalic Entertainment’s Blackguards 2 is back with another features video, this time showing off many of the new monsters that players will encounter.

Players familiar with the first Blackguards will remember difficult encounters such as the Louse Queen, a horrible beetle-like enemy summoned my Marwan’s mages. It turns out that this creature, which ends up drastically altering the path of the game, was just the beginning of these mage’s horrible creations.

Each of the mages have summoned their own unique monstrosity, some flying, some brute-like, some ranged tacticians. Interestingly, as these creatures are mindless husks, tactical players can turn the tide of battle on their side by gaining control of a map objective during the encounter, which causes the enemy to switch sides. As the video shows, these new creatures range greatly in form, though it’s likely all will pose new challenges to players returning to the world of Blackguards 2.
