On top of the game patch yesterday BF4 players with the premium upgrade gained access to the first expansion pack for the recently released game. China Rising adds new maps, weapons, and achievements to the base BF4 game.

Thus far China Rising has received mixed reviews from critics due to the lack of “levelution” on the new maps and a feeling that the added maps don’t add a lot to the overall game just yet. Regardless of your feelings on the subject if you’re a premium BF4 player it’s advisable to load up Origin to patch the game and load up one of the new maps to decide for yourself if that premium purchase is paying off so far.

This info correlates with the information previosly reported that the DLC would include a portable UAV and dirt bikes.
