Today Deep Silver announced ESCAPE Dead Island, a third-person single-player survival mystery game spin-off to the popular Dead Island series. Telling the story of the events between Dead Island and Dead Island 2, ESCAPE Dead Island aims to allow players the opportunity to unravel the origin of the zombie outbreak.

Developed by Fatshark Sweden, ESCAPE Dead Island is scheduled for release in autumn 2014 for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system as well as Windows PC for a recommended retail price of 44,99 / 39,99 Euro (39,99 US-Dollar, 39,99/34,99 GBP) .
