Some companies might be greedy and hold their price firm, but not the Just Cause developers. In light of the huge boost in public interest they put Just Cause 2 on sale with a very deep discount on Steam.

At 80% off Just Cause 2 is selling for just $2.99 which is a steal when you factor in the added multiplayer functionality. It’s safe to say that Just Cause 2 might just make the list as the best selling game made in 2010 for 2013.

The Just Cause 2 community released a free mod today that adds mutiplayer to the game. Early reviews are very favorable for the mod which is said to run smoothly and run without sync issues even on servers with a high player count.

JC2-MP is a project to bring multiplayer to Just Cause 2 in all of its magnificent glory. Imagine the chaos of normal Just Cause 2, then extending it out to dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of players.
