Divinity: Original Sin Headed to Store Shelves in North America

The little RPG that could, Divinity: Original Sin, began as an idea funded by the
fans. From there it proceeded to a critically-acclaimed launch on Steam, and now it rolls into all major US retailers including Wal-Mart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target just in time for Christmas.

Looking for the perfect gift for that special someone (or for an excuse to ignore
your uncle’s political opinions at dinner)? Divinity: Original Sin features a 50 hour campaign – and co-op, if you want to bring a friend! – and the retail version is patched and available at major retail stores near you when you need an excuse to get out of the house. Divinity: Original Sin’s Cow Simulator 2014 Trailer Featuring Divinity Engine Toolkit

Divinity: Original Sin is only a few days away from the full release. On top of the insanely feature packed game, Divinity: Original Sin includes the insanely powerful Divinity Engine Toolkit, a level editor that lets you do pretty much anything. Along with the editor, Larian Studios has included Cow Simulator 2014 as a sample template for would-be modders to both play and learn from. You can check out Larian Studios developers giving a hands-on tutorial on working with the Divinity Engine Toolkit on the Larian Studios YouTube channel

Divinity: Original Sin level editor and Cow Simulator 2014 announced

Larian Studios announced new details of the editor that players can look forward to receiving along with their copy of Divinity: Original Sin. In addition, along with the editor, the developers have included a sample module called Cow Simulator 2014. In what could possibly be the pre-eminent cow simulator on the market, Cow Simulator 2014 will show just how powerful the engine can be while also being a fully playable experience for 1-4 players.

You can grab Divinity: Original Sin on Steam Early Access right now. The game is set for a full release on June 30th, 2014.
