										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Fans of the classic X-COM series have a lot to be excited about these days. 2012’s X-COM Enemy Unknown was well received by fans and critics alike. Xenonauts also recently graduated from Steam Early Access to a full retail release.</p>
<p>For die-hard X-COM fans, though, there’s no replacement for the original classic. If you’re one of those fans who yearns for the classic game of our past, we have some great new for you. OpenXcom, an open-source XCOM clone, has finally reached a full 1.0 release after over 5 years in development.</p>
<p>OpenXcom features a fully remastered experience that emulates the classic game’s visuals but also includes support for modern systems. OpenXcom also features hundreds of bug fixes and improvements over the original game. The gigantic list of improvements can be found on at the ufopaedia.org wiki.</p>
