We’re only a short time removed from the official announcement that Grand Theft Auto V would be coming to PC. Retailers like Amazon have been quick to capitalize on the hype around the announcement by getting the title up for pre-order as soon as they possibly could.
Thanks to the Steam description for the game, it would seem that in addition to the upgraded visuals, PC players will have some additional features that the console players may not be getting.
All new content and gameplay created and released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online including new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available in Grand Theft Auto Online for PC. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation®4, Xbox One or PC.
Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making.
There hasn’t been any type of official announcement regarding Steam Workshop or any other type of mod support. Considering how influential mods have been for the GTA IV PC community, hopefully Rockstar gets everything right with GTA V on PC.
You can pre-order GTA V right now on Steam, and Amazon.com
