Gamer Network is pleased to announce that Relic Entertainment will release the first details of the next phase of Company of Heroes 2 at EGX Rezzed next week.
Since releasing Homeworld in 1999, award-winning Relic Entertainment has produced a series of innovative strategy games that have pushed the real-time-strategy genre forwards. Their titles include the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series, which has been a benchmark in excellence in RTS, as well as Company of Heroes which remains the highest rated RTS game of all time*. Last year they released the acclaimed sequel Company of Heroes 2
Company of Heroes 2 Executive Producer Greg Wilson and Game Director Quinn Duffy will be on stage in the developer session auditorium at 3pm on Friday 28th March, the first day of the show, to talk about the history of Relic as well as future plans for the Company of Heroes franchise. The session will also be broadcast live on Eurogamer.net.
EGX Rezzed takes place at The NEC in Birmingham from 28th-30th March and features a huge range of playable PC, next-gen console and indie games including the world’s first opportunity for the public to play Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation.
Each day is also filled with developer sessions, which bring visitors face to face with some of the biggest names in game development as they talk about their work and share new details on future projects. Speakers include DayZ creator Dean Hall, Alien: Isolation creative lead Alistair Hope, Volume developer Mike Bithell and Dreamfall Chapters’ Ragnar Tornquist. Tornquist.
